Day 4 : Breaking The Code

After visiting the Science Museum, we went to a park named « Hyde Park » where we had picnic and where the teachers gave us a booklet. It contained a map of London and 5 coded messages, each corresponding to a place in the British capital.
In other words, we had to decode those messages, using the following decipher methods : the transposition cipher, the route cipher, the substitution cipher or the caesar cipher, in order to find the different places which were : Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Nelson’s Column, Charlie Chaplin’s Statue, Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain and China Town. it enabled us to visit the city in an original way which was interesting and unusual. At the end of the day before going back to our hosting family, we ended up at Covent Garden where we attended street shows.
